What the AGPL edition promises.
- The AGPL edition is the project.
- Every release is published under the AGPL at the same time, and with the same code, as any commercial release.
- No commercial-only features in the AGPL projects.
- Development stays in public repositories, with the community.
The full text is in the laraplate repository, and the commitment is written down in the contributing guide.
The commercial license.
For teams that cannot accept the AGPL obligations. Same code, different terms. See thecommercial options.
Contributing.
External code contributions will be accepted under a contributor license agreement (CLA), which is being finalised. Until it is published, external pull requests are not merged. Bug reports, discussions and design proposals are welcome in the meantime. The CLA exists so that the project can keep offering the dual license, and code you contribute stays available under the AGPL.
Brand.
The logos are licensed under CC BY-ND 4.0: you may share them unmodified, with attribution, for any purpose. You may not distribute modified versions. They live in the brand repository.
The CC license does not grant any trademark rights. Forks and derivative products must not use the names Laraplate, LaraCore and the other module names, or the logos, in a way that suggests they are the official project.
